Passing through on our way back to Montana. Found this gem in Idaho Falls! GREAT burgers, fries and the A and J of the place are so friendly! We wish we could have stayed for the music. Great place and what a passion they have for it all!

We were staying just over night at that RV park next door. Just wanted an easy dinner. AJ’s was delicious and friendly. My husband had the jalapeño pepper Jack burger. I had the steak fries. We are passing thru from VA so I had to ask what steak fries were. I now know they are wonderful. The steak was quite tender. My hubby’s burger was great. The space looks fun! They have bands and pool tables and if we weren’t hitting the road again in the morning we may have stopped back in later. “The Virginians”.

I haven’t been inside this building in over 20 years. Surprising how cleaned up it is. AJ’s deserves a shot at being the place everybody in town cuts loose on the weekends. Live band was good. My cheeseburger was great. Fresh. Juicy. Flavorful. The buttery toasty bun really took it over the top. As good of a bar burger as I’ve ever had.

My band came through here on tour and the staff was incredibly kind, the owners were friendly, and worked there as cook and bartender together. The burgers were literally the best burger I had eaten in years, and the other guys that had one agreed. When thanked, he told us that the reason they're so good is because they're never frozen, and sourced locally, grass fed, free range. The whole 9 yards. The value on the prices is also insane. All entrees come with fries, tots, or the dummy fire onion rings. They also booked us basically last minute because we had an issue with the original venue, and helped us turn what would have otherwise been a failure of an evening into a unique experience that won't be forgotten. 10/10
Vegetarian options: They got fried foods that are not prepared with meat nor contain mean, but it's definitely not geared towards that.

I don't like that they don't enforce their no-smoking rules. Kind of ruined the experience. GREAT FOOD THOUGH!!

I went to an event on Saturday at ajs, employees were nice, food was really good and overall it was fun. I wish they had non-alcohol non-carbination options other than water, but what can you do ?♀️
