I went to Baskin Robbin’s when the power was out on 17th from Holmes to Woodruff, the owner was out working in the flower beds and told me they weren’t open due to the outage. He is an elderly man, humored me with some small talk and when I went to leave he noticed how dirty my windshield was, the owner offered to spray off my windshield. I thought this man seems like an old school Idahoan. Even called me kiddo when I left.
Super nice employees but the shakes are awful. They have so much milk that you can't taste the ice cream. It's a cup.of milk for $6. Im very disappointed. We got chocolate chip mint for 1 shake and baseball nut for another. Both were terrible. The smoothie was ok but we wanted the mixed Berry but they were out so we settled for strawberry banana.
The staff were very friendly and greeted us as soon as we came in. They were happy to help and gave great recommendations for flavors. I had a great time and will definitely come back.
