“The Denny's on the other side of town closed so we decided to try IHOP to compare. First off, it's not 24hrs. My menu was so sticky I could barely open it and I pointed that out to the waitress who sat us and she said nothing and did nothing. I ended up sharing menus with someone else. That being said the food was decent and, even though the booth was tight, the atmosphere wasn't bad (mind you we came at about 2pm between traditional rush hours). I think the prices were also higher than Denny's had been.“
“This used to be my favorite place. For years they had great food and great service. My last two visits have been unsatisfying. Slow and spotty service, wrong order, just general confusion. One of my pet peeves about the place is they can't seem to make toast. Who can't make toast? When you get toast, it has obviously never seen the inside of a toaster. Toast should not be gooey. If you can't Make simple toast, you may as well hang up the chef's hat.“
