This place is amazing. Perfecto. Since leaving ny. This is closest thing I've had to authentic Italian. Reminds me of my grandma and great grandmas cooking... an the hugs an kisses on cheek just adds to the itallianess it was like being at a family reunion. Must try. An dine in is an experience in itself

I will never forget the first time I tried their food. The lasagna was so good I almost cried. It is a little more on the pricey side, so it's not something most would have often, but the perfection of the preparation and the ingredients makes it all worth it. While you're there, be sure to ask about their wines and how they pair with the food. Oh, and treat yourself to the tiramisu cake while you're there. Make sure you get enough so you won't have to share. You won't want to after the first bite. Enjoy!

We have loved Mama Fla from the very beginning. The food is truly pure Italian. All the ingredients are fresh and the flour used to create amazing homemade pasta is imported from Italy along with many other ingredients. The food simply makes us feel healthy. No GMO. The service is fantastic. When dinning here, you are transported back to Rome, the atmosphere is very European. We love Mama Flaπ©·

I had a very frustrating experience at Mama-Fla.
The biggest issue is the complete lack of transparency. There is no menu and no pricing shown anywhere. Instead, everything is verbally explained, and itβs not even clear what youβre ordering or how much it costs. That alone is a major red flag and not an acceptable way to run a restaurant.
The food itself was underwhelming and did not taste fresh. Our entire order came out in under 10 minutes, which is hard to believe for a place that claims to serve authentic, homemade recipes. It felt more like reheated or pre-prepared food than something cooked to order.
We ordered two main dishes, one starter, and two desserts, and the bill came out to over $100. For the quality, portion sizes, and overall experience, this felt extremely overpriced.
The restaurant leans heavily on the idea of βauthentic, grandma-style cooking,β but the experience does not live up to that claim. Between unclear ordering, questionable food quality, and high prices, this felt more misleading than authentic.
I would not recommend this place unless they significantly improve transparency and food quality.

After a very long day of driving..we were hungry and very tired. We stumbled on this restaurant and I feel like I walked into my Nonna's kitchen. Welcoming, warm, a little unconventional..but the food was incredible and felt like the hug I needed. She is an amazing chef- simple food done well. My favorite...the Bruscetta was over the top good! Thank you...we will be back next time we are driving through. And apologies if we were a bit grumpy when we walked in...the tired factor was real...

Excellent. Delicious. Highly recommend! We try to stay away from seed oils and eat only glyphosate free wheat and this place has all of that (imported Italian flour and uses olive oil), while also having amazing flavor. Flaminia was so nice and accommodating and really knows her craft, wine knowledge too. We took pasta and sauce from the prepackaged items to make at home later, as well. Our leftovers reheated well, too. They're only open Fri and Sat and they don't have menus - it changes weekly and they read off what they offer for you to choose from. I believe they do a lot of their business through catering. Go eat there!

Mama Fla is a very friendly italian woman with SERIOUS skill in the kitchen. I've had her food twice now, the first was quite some time ago, over a year, probably over two. It was before they got a brick and mortar store, if memory serves. I bought a ready-to-bake four cheese lasagne and a bottle of her homemade balsamic. I still use the balsamic to this day, and the lasagne was good enough that, when I saw her name on the sign, I immediately remembered how impressed with it I was, and I marked the location for me to go visit. Fast forward to today, and a friend and I went to dinner there. We ordered the alfredo lasagne, the fettuccine alfredo, the bread with pestos, and an order of cannoli. The food lived up to my memory and was absolutely amazing, the service was just as friendly and inviting as I remember it being, and the restaraunt itself was cozy and comfortable. I have absolutely no complaints -- the price is high, but for the food you get, it is a killer deal. I was most impressed by the kalamata olive pesto -- not that it was the best part of the meal, that was the lasagne, but because, for such a simple ingredient, so much care was taken in its preparation and serving that it really was an amazing time. It's the little things, after all. I give Mama Fla's an emphatic five stars out of five, and will be returning again.

AMAZING. Impeccable. Authentic. This place is fantastic. I have Celiac disease and Mama Fla created a new dish AND dessert for me, since nothing on the menu that day was gluten free. I will forever recommend Mama Flas to anyone and everyone that wants a high quality, tailored, delicious experience.
