Very old school. I expected fresh fish and actual chips having lived on the uk for many years. Everything was frozen who does waffle fries for chips on 2024 !!?? I literally threw away my entire 22 meal and heard them talking about it but wouldn’t say anything to me. Most definitely the worst meal I have had in like 20 years. It also took like 20 min to get my food. It is dying and the owner and employees don’t get it.

A huge shout out to the crew at the gangplank. We had a crowd. My daughter called beforehand and notified them we were coming. Shortly after our party of 10 arrived, several other parties arrived. The crew was awesome still. They were still very attentive to us, and everyone who arrived after us. We had a few from our party that showed up late. They were treated very well also. The food was great, the service was great, and the service was exceptional. Thank you for allowing us to gather and visit at your facility. ??

Jason and Jeff were such a pleasure to talk with and share stories. We're from out of town, and they also shared a local's perspective of where to visit. The food was great. My favorite was the shrimp. The coleslaw was one of the best I've had.

This is a great spot to get some good, crunchy, seafood. I’m from Maryland and have worked at a seafood market/restaurant for about 3 years. The gang plank is a taste of home in the middle of Idaho, with quality seafood. I definitely recommend this place to any costal folk missing their local seafood restaurant.

Got a microwave chicken sandwich and it only had mayonnaise on it no lettuce or tomato or pickle in it got my drink without lid my lady got calm chowder that was a couple weeks old and also got reheat in the microwave I don't recommend anyone to eat your just going to get disappointed in yourself for wasting your money on terrible food they service your better off going to the soup kitchen at least there you don't have to pay for terrible food

$13 lunch without a drink, 20 something minute wait, fish/coleslaw was small but good, fries were cold...not impressed, will not be back. Waitress offered new fries but i didn't have time or desire to wait.
Probably the best fish and chips in town. Excellent hushpuppies. The shop is average sized and clean, with some dated decor and seating.

It's been about 30 years since I've been inside of here, and boy have I been missing out! The fish is very tasty. The Chris-cut fries are okay, the Slaw is okay, and the pebble ice in my soda-pop was nice. I'll come back again next week for the fish, and my mom said that I need to try the hush puppies. She said they were good 50 years ago and they're still good today. My friends told me that the chicken was good too.
