Dinner here was delicious! We got the Prime rib special and it came out PERFECT. We had also ordered the full size country fried chicken and we only had two bites. The waitress comped it and was happy to bring us an extra plate to share the delicious prime rib. Everything was clean and the service was quick! The bread that comes with the meal was fresh baked and so delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant!

No better way to have the best experience in Lava Hot Springs then to be served by Lex @ Chuckwagon. She is friendly, fun, personable and provides great service. Food was delicious and timely.

Took about 45min to be seated in about an 50min to get our food. We were there for breakfast Hashbrowns could be cooked 10 more minutes. Was served bacon and toast way before our main meals. Food could definitely use some seasoning.

This is the second time i have tried coming here. I figured it would be hard for them to mess up coffee right? Wrong! I took one sip of my eight dollar coffee and about spit it back out.And when asked for a refund, they said they could only give me half my money back. I don't know who runs this Place but they're seriously lacking in customer service

We were here in the off-season, so everything was really quiet for a 7am breakfast. We had the chicken fried steak and the French toast special. Both were tasty. The food did take a little longer than expected (cook made breakfast burritos for me and another customer instead of french toast), but we weren't in a hurry. Server was friendly and just the right amount of attentive. Good prices and clean.

Really friendly, attentive service. Large portions so you won’t leave hungry!! Well done “diner” food with special touches like homemade jam. Jay welcomed us as you would someone to your kitchen table.
Definitely coming back next visit.

The French onion soup was too salty to eat. The pork barbecue sandwich was really greasy and unedible.

The kielbasa and sauerkraut were cold.

The scones were really good.
