The food here was AMAZING!!! Juan and Jaxon were great :) We will for sure be back!!! Service and food were both 10/10.
We are so fortunate to live close to El Molcajete and have come to love not only their food but their staff as well. Tonight, Juan and Brice were our serving team and they were impeccable. Friendly, great suggestions and consistently on top of our dining needs. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

El Molcajete is a Mexican restaurant in Meridian that has earned new regulars. The food is authentic and fresh, with every sauce home made and excellent flavors that compliment each dish. Several salsa's are available, and guests can ask the server for their level of HOT. Different flavors of rice are offered, and the chips, salsa and guacamole are on point. The carne asada has been called the best, with quality and flavorful meat, beans, rice, tortillas, and salsa. The Camarones a la diabla was full of flavor and the right amount of heat. The fajitas were large enough to serve four easily and were packed with delicious meat. The tres leches cake was the best ever paid for, and two desserts were incredible. The presentation was beautiful, the portions were generous, and there was real care put into the food. The staff is friendly, attentive, and gracious, making guests feel welcome. The atmosphere is pleasant and clean. El Molcajete is highly recommended and worth the visit.
