This was my 1st time. I had the tuna on wheat 12", with the works. The bread was a bit stale, not much tuna in the sub as compared to competitor. Staff was nice, and service was prompt. They have an outdoor area with umbrellas which is nice. I'll give it another try cause I want to help local biz. Hopefully get a better experience.

Jon Smith Subs on Ten Mile is a must-visit spot for delicious sandwiches and fresh French fries. The restaurant recently reopened under new ownership, and while the service remains friendly and courteous, there are mixed feelings about the quality of the food. The accommodating service still caters to special dietary needs, including gluten intolerance. The reuben sandwich, served as a salad without lettuce, continues to be a favorite. The Gator and Hot Pastrami sandwiches, however, have received feedback for having less meat and ingredients than before.
Takeout is still highly recommended, but the fries now come in only one size, unlike the previous small, medium, and large options. Although the fries are still hot and well-seasoned, some customers feel they don't taste as good as they did under the previous ownership. Fry sauce is provided in smaller containers, which can be inconvenient when the restaurant is busy.
Despite these changes, the soft, non-soggy bread and mouth-watering fries remain a highlight when visiting Jon Smith Subs. The large parking lot and wheelchair accessibility also add to the convenience of the location. Overall, this spot continues to attract customers with its excellent service and delicious food, making it worth a visit.
