I had high hopes for Lucky Fins which often gets great reviews but we found it just so-so. Curiously everything was so bland...including the spicy margarita! Maybe it was an off night?

Was looking for good fish and chips, but was highly disappointed. I got bland, soggy fish, and no distinctive flavors. The sushi roll I ordered was delicious.

It was my first time at Lucky Fin's and it was fantastic. Went for lunch and our server Nicki was wonderful. Same with the server Josh. So kind and very observant. Very clean! I will definitely be back to try the other yummy things on the menu.

Our server was well spoken and knew how to pick up on what we were looking for. We had a great meal .

Shrimp and mango tacos, fish and chips, excellent. Clam linguine would have been better in a white sauce. Our waiter was terrific—wish I remembered his name. He's thee man who owns Bellyful Foid Truck.

We went their on a Sunday noon to celebrate my daughter's bday. Not busy , but I strongly recommend a reservation if you are planning to go for dinner, especially Fridays. (experience: crowded & long line). Their Lobster stuffed avocado is a must try. Polynesian Poke Bowl & Kid's coconut shrimp were good but Hand-cut Aged Ribeye was a failure. It didn't have any flavor and unfortunately the bday girl ordered it. We were disappointed about paying $37 for that. Service was good, servers were attentive & delivered food without much delays. Other than the Ribeye, $$ is ok for special occasion.

Going to Lucky Fins for Easter Brunch is like going home. Good food and fantastic personal service. Seeing Bridget and Courtney working the dining room was an extra treat. Working together with smiles on their faces!

Food was excellent. The service was adequate but not exceptional. We arrived just as they opened, and the servers were still setting up (which should have been done before opening).

Service was great. Our party ended up being larger than expected and staff was helpful and accommodating. Food and happy hour pricing is always amazing!

Parmesan crusted halibut was amazing!! Servers were super fun and responsive, always love this place!

The wife's Plank Salmon was excellent with moist seasoned salmon. The husbands Fins Platter was pleasing with firm shrimp and good cod. The ( very tasty) Lobster Mac and Cheese (shared) added to our meal. The waitress was very attentive. We enjoyed the dinner and will be back soon.

WOW! What a surprise we got stumbling upon this unassuming restaurant in Meridian. Molly was our amazing, and adorable server. Sushi was great!!! Fish Tacos we super tasty. Really nice, friendly staff. Casual atmosphone. One thing, the staff needs to learn to pick up their noisy ringing PHONE. :)

I ordered the sesame crusted seared ahi accompanied with a fried rice puff all of which was covered with sautéed vegetables in a cucumber – red pepper relish. The ahi was perfectly seared, fresh, delicious, and the portion size was generous. The accompanying sautéed vegetables served over the ahi and fried rice puff culminated in a palate pleasing and visual masterpiece. Our server, Julio, was extremely attentive, professional, yet allowed us to enjoy our dinners undisturbed. The entire experience was superior in every way.

Lucky Fins Seafood Grill ⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently revisited Lucky Fins in Meridian. In the past, I’ve been to the original location, which is the one in Meridian, as well as the one in downtown Boise, which has since closed. There is also a location in Greeley, Colorado. We started with an appetizer of Kickin’ Shrimp ($15) - Crispy shrimp tossed in a sweet and spicy honey-chipotle sauce, served with a side of ranch and a lime wedge. Similar to Bonefish Grill’s Bang Bang Shrimp, but uniquely its own, this isn’t excellent appetizer! If you like spicy shrimp, it’s worth visiting for this dish alone. I ordered the Baja Fish Tacos ($15) - Tempura battered and fried Arctic cod with shredded cabbage, chipotle aïoli, pickled onions, cojita, and micro cilantro. Served with cilantro lime rice, lime wedges, and choice of salsa. The fish tacos were bland and flavorless. I didn’t realize until I started to write this review that they came with a choice of salsa, but I don’t think that would’ve made much of a difference. I liked the cilantro lime rice. MW ordered the Cedar Plank Salmon ($29) - Center cut, grilled Arctic salmon on Northwest Cedar plank, seasoned with Rocky Mountain meat and fish rub, loaded smashers, grilled asparagus, charred lemon. MW liked the salmon dish, but would opt for something a little more interesting next time. For dessert, we shared Bourbon Bread Pudding, which came topped with ice cream ($10). It was good. The ambience and service were excellent!
