I just had to write a review to acknowledge the great lunch we recently had the pleasure of having at Marie Callender's in Meridian. My friend and I were on our way home (to Council) from Salt Lake City and were looking for somewhere to have a good lunch, well this was definitely the place to go! It was the best meal we had in the last 2 days and it didn't cost us an "arm and a leg". and we each had a slice of pie!!! When in this area next time this is where to go!! Great staff as well!!

Stopped in today to try their breakfast. There was literally no customers at a normally peak breakfast time. Huge red flag, but gave the benefit of doubt. My son and I sat down. When we looked at the menu and saw the outrageous prices ($15 for a small croissant sandwich and $5 for a coffee!!!). No thank you. I can get a good meal elsewhere for way cheaper. Why spend that much for drip coffee when it costs Pennies to make. We got up and left. I will not be back. It’s obvious their not getting much business because all other restaurants in the area had a 45 min wait, but they were empty

I thought it would be nice to pick up a hot meal last night. This is what I got. 3 ounces of rock hard turkey with tiny portions of potatoes and stuffing for $19. Picture in comments.

Love Marie Callendars in Meridian. Coming from California where they had closed down all of our Marie Callendars. It was so nice to have a little bit of taste of home. I have ordered pies amazing German chocolate pie Yum. I’ve ordered meals and it’s been great.

I purchased a lemon meringue pie after eating my lunch there. The lunch was nowhere near as good as Marie Callendar’s use to be. When I got the pie home and went to cut it, it just disintegrated. I went back the next day to order a holiday meal. When I told them about my experience with their pie, they just shrugged and said “sorry” - not very convincing. They really don’t care! Also, I wanted to pay cash for the holiday meal but was told that I had to order it online and pay with a credit card, even though the sign outside says that they are taking holiday orders. They are NOT taking holiday orders. They seem to be run by a small group of teenagers that really don’t give a crap!!!

The lemon meringue pie was what I remembered it to be. The second lemon meringue pie I bought was surprising better than the first one not that the first one was bad but I was even more surprised how good the second pie was. I’ll have it polished off in two days as opposed to four.

We went here for the first time to get a piece of pie for my birthday. My son ran in to get it. The pie is excellent. However, the parking lot is not very welcoming to people with disability. I use a walker and the walk from the handicap spot to the front door is ridiculous. So I will not be going here unless I have somebody with me to go in and get a carry out. This is so typical of our city. It’s really a shame that a big company like this did not do a better job with accessibility. The curbs are extremely high.

To be honest I didn’t enjoy my experience there. I had a potato cheese soup that is served with corn bread and butter. The soup is very salty! The service was good as well as the atmosphere and the view!

It's a long way from the real thing that I knew well in the 70s and 80s. But better than the frozen versions of their dishes.

This is definitely not your mother’s Marie Callender’s, but it’s still inexpensive, delicious, comfort food. I got the Pot Pie Trio, which is a smaller version of their famous pot pie, a side (soup, salad, or French fries), and a slice of dessert pie for only $15. It also includes a piece of corn bread with honey butter. Great food, great service, great value.
