We had Smokin’ Iron cater lunch for our department. Absolutely the best Texas BBQ I’ve ever had! Meat was done to perfection, homemade sides were phenomenal. Portions were meant to feed a full grown man, so bring your appetite!

Amazing! We placed a large order for an office baby shower for shortly after they open. I arrived and they were freshly slicing and preparing my order. They gave me samples to try while I waited and were so hospitable. All of it was amazing! We had the brisket, pork, turkey, both sausages, mac n cheese, coleslaw, baked beans and potato salad. The portions for the price were great also. We will definitely be repeat customers! Thank you from the Asumendi & Kincheloe Tax staff for an amazing lunch!

We had the J.R.'s Plate with original sausage, moist brisket and ribs, and sides of coleslaw and jalapeno popper pasta salad. The brisket melted in my mouth and the coleslaw was a great way to cut the heat from the sauces. Can't wait to come back and try the Smokin' Spuds.

THE best BBQ I’ve had in a long time. Seriously. I’m from TX and these folks are the real deal. I’d share pictures, but I forgot. The sausage is made in house and outstanding. The banana pudding cheesecake…OMG! We tried the burnt ends and ribs, potato salad, okra, beans, and mac ‘n cheese. Nothing…nothing…was bad. Oh! And BIG RED! The food was great…the conversation was like being at home. Thanks y’all!

Smokin Iron made my works Thanksgiving meal, and it was so good. We got two big turkey breast and various sides. For me the Turkey and mac and cheese we just terrific. Even day two still amazing. They don't cut the meat until you show up, and it smells delicious while you wait. My work is already talking about doing it again next year.

We used Smoking Iron for a company Thanksgiving dinner. It was soooo good. Everything was packaged/ sliced as we picked it up. Not prepackaged. Very fresh and hot. The turkey was divine, moist and well seasoned. The sides were excellent and their was plenty for leftovers. The team that day were happy, friendly and did excellent work. If you have eaten their food before then I'm preaching to the choir. If not, then waste no time and give them a try. Excellent food, service and people. You won't regret it.

The bbq is…bland. There’s zero flavor. I’ve have bbq in the south and in Texas and this is the worst so far not to mention it’s incredibly over priced. I don’t know if they bind and season before smoking but I doubt it because you can’t taste it. The bbq brisket potato though was good if you have bbq sauce on it. The sauce is DEFINITELY lifting the flavor of the meat.

Excellent barbecue!! Best barbecue in Meridian. Had the brisket and sausage...both great. Brisket supposed tender, cut with fork. Barbecue sauces super recommended regular and spicy. Side we had were mac and cheese and potato salad, both recommended! Service was excellent..very friendly and efficient. Met the owner - great gal...bringing Texas barbecue to Idaho. If you love barbecue you have to go...u won't be sorry!
