I was at FedEx and needed a little pick me up. Starbucks is conveniently next door so of course I had to stop in for a caffeinated beverage. I made it in about an hour before closing. I would have hated to be that customer who came in right before they were shutting everything down.

It was an odd hour when I came in so the joint was quite empty. It was nice and quiet. The barista behind the counter heard me come in. I was greeted and they didn't even see me. Made my way to the counter. They were helping done folks in the drive thru. They acknowledged me and said they'd be with me shortly.

I got my drink ordered and chilled while they were working on it. It was nice sitting inside with it being so got outside. I got my usual today, a small iced americano with sugar free vanilla and room for cream.

My drink was smashed out pretty quickly. They put me half and half in a cute little cup on the side for me. I got to add the half and half myself which was nice. Sometimes they can add too much or not enough so to have the option to do it myself a awesome.

My drink was perfectly made. You can taste the espresso in it. It wasn't watered down. The addition of the half and half and syrup was nice. It was what I needed to keep me going this hot, late afternoon. The venue was chill and relaxing. It was nice to be able to catch my breath before I had to go onto my next task. I'm more of a local coffee joint kinda of girl but I'm happy I stopped in today for a drink.

Everything is great except for the lack of drink in my iced beverage. :( not sure why ordering an iced drink means you get a cup of ice each time - we still pay full price?

TL;DR: Went through the drive through to pick up my mobile order and the second the barista handed me my drink she turned around and slammed the drive through window shut behind her back before I could even ask for straws. What absolutely absurd, abhorrent behavior. Do you also kick puppies in your free time?

What happened: I pulled up to the drive through window to inform them through the speakerphone that I was picking up a mobile through the drive through. They said "we have it, come on up". As I pulled up to the window, the barista opened the window and prepared to give me the drink. I took the first drink, but as I took it, the barista looked at me with a dirty look. She curled up her lips in a fake smile, dropped the smile the second she turned to get the other drink, and proceeded to hand me the second drink. The millisecond her hand reached back behind the drive through windows, she instantly turned her back to me, and shut the windows with her hands behind her back. I tried to speak through the windows that I had wanted straws and was blatantly ignored. Who turns away from the window and shuts the doors with their hands behind their back? That can't be comfortable.

I completely understand having a bad day. I completely understanding not wanting to work but having to anyways. But YOU chose to work in a customer facing role. YOU chose to show up for your shift. That means regardless of what you have going on in your personal or work life, for those 5 seconds that you greet the customer, none of that matters. Why is it now my job to have a bad day too, because you were having one? Why is it your new job to spread anger instead of joy?

I've never seen such surprising behavior before, ESPECIALLY from a Starbucks barista. As a customer for 15+ years, I've yet to experience such sad customer service etiquette. Absolutely disgusting. And you better believe I am asking for a refund for this behavior.

Employees are unhappy! Were did the Starbucks happy positive exerience go? I recently heard a podcaster reference the old Starbucks expereience in reference to the happy place to go.

I only go to this location because it's close to my work, but whenever I get a drink here it makes me want to stop drinking Starbucks. I get the same drink at every location and this one will make it so bad I just have to throw it away!

Ordered a venti cappuccino and was given a venti cup of foam. I told the cashier my cup was less than half full of actual coffee and she responded with well that's a cappuccino rather than try to help make it right.
Terrible way to handle that and even worse customer service from her. Way to be argumentative.

I am hearing impaired/selectively mute, and I work near this Starbucks. I've been coming in pretty regularly on my lunch break, and every time that I come in, the staff are always so nice and accommodating!
Today, when I was ordering, I forgot to say whether I wanted a hot or cold drink, so the man who was taking my order kindly held up a hot drink cup, and a cold drink cup instead of asking me verbally.
Every time I come in, they sign "thank you" to me as well! And they don't seem to be annoyed by me having to dictate my order with the notes app on my phone!

10/10 service each time, and I always look forward to my lunch break because of the staff here!
