Arrived at 9 and had the place mostly to ourselves. Lila was very interesting and entertaining. The chef, Carlos, spun tales and entranced us with bison filet and sea bass - superb! Can’t wait to go back.
Food was good and had a good presentation. However, I ordered a dessert that came with a fresh flower that had a bug in it. The bug quickly ran across my plate dragging the fruit juice along with it across my plate. The owner came over after a waitress frantically flagged her down. First time visiting Vintage ‘61 & my husband & I had such a lovely time! Looks very humble & inconspicuous from the outside, but it was beautifully decorated & charming once you step inside this historic Meridian home. We sat outside in the “backyard” it was perfection with the shade from mature trees & umbrellas.
