With a 2-month advance reservation for our anniversary, would've hoped for a table in the quieter, darker, and more romantic house portion of the restaurant. Instead, we were seated in the non-romantic and loud, cattle-call patio area, listening to corporate america chit-chat. Getting past that, the service and food were amazing, as always. First time trying their filet, which might be the best I've ever had. Didn't see the owners this time, and the overall experience...
A wonderful experience! Our waiter was timely and friendly. The chef is great! My husband had the French onion soup, it was flavorful and everything this soup should be. I had the filet mignon, done perfectly to medium rare. My husband had the burger and could not stop moaning. The atmosphere is casual elegance.
Service was attentive and made us feel welcome. Everyone was very satisfied with the food. Downside is that it is extremely noisy. Only blemish on the evening was when the waiter reached out for the child who was standing in the chair and it and the child fell backwards. It happened so fast I couldn't see exactly what happened but it was my impression that the waiter should have been able to catch the chair and prevent it from falling over. Child was not hurt but very scared.
