People often times trash Applebee's, but I never understood why: it's a chain restaurant that doesn't pretend to serve fine dining. Our server was excellent and incredibly friendly. They had their dollaritas special going on and she was very good about checking up on us and asking if we wanted more. As is typical of applebee's, the serving sizes are huge. We had enough food for leftover lunch the next day so the price is excellent.
Our server was fabulous. We took my son there for his birthday, and my daughter had to be to work 45 minutes later. So we asked to have her order, and they had it done and out to her in time to eat with a to go box, and on top of it all, they made her a Pepsi to go. That was above and beyond. I was happy that she got to spend her little brother's birthday with us. HAPPY BIRTHDAY GABE!!!

The chicken tender/macaroni and cheese dinner was good, as was the appetizer. The appetizer came out late, but it was delicious. Our server was outstanding. The only reason for a 4 star is the tardiness of the appetizer combined with the fact we only got it was I asked when we would get it. It started getting loud, but it was not horrible.
