Countrymen's Bierhall | Moscow, ID - Bar & Restaurant

5 stars is not enough to rate this place. Best bar I’ve been to in the area between Moscow and Pullman. The food is FANTASTIC and every dish I have tried has not disappointed me. The staff are all so kind and friendly. Such sweet people and know their stuff! You are well taken care of here and they put their customers first. Their drinks are equally amazing as the bartenders are very knowledgeable and are spot on with their drinks. The owner is wonderful, such a great man that has built a great business between the bar and the axe throwing upstairs.
Please do not skip out on this hidden gem, it is a must try if you are visiting or are a local.

Great spot and good beer. I would recommend getting a few t.v’s and play some music. I was hoping to watch some Sunday football so that cut my visit short not being able to catch some games. I will visit again. Porter was great. Happy to have stumbled upon the brewery!

My most recommended spot in town! The service is amazing, the servers have great recommendations and are always friendly. The ambience is welcoming, great music, a great spot for drinks or a meal with friends and family. The menu has so many great options and the drinks menu has something for everyone.

We came to visit our son at university and were looking for a quiet, clean establishment that served GOOD food and what we found here surpassed ALL of our expectations! Garret, the bartender, was personable and attentive. Our food was fresh and abundant. The menu online was so unique that we were intrigued. I’m so glad we gave this location a try. We will definitely be back!!!

Countryman's is my family's definitive number one spot to go in the region. A true must stop if you are coming through town. The atmosphere incredible, the food. Let me tell you... there has been several occassions in my long term quest to try the entire menu, that I have bit into someone so good. It can only be called, spiritually enlightening. There has never been anything disappointing. If you have not been, you are doing yourself a diservice, go, you will thank me later.

Wonderful authentic German food!! Great selection of beers also. Service was great and the atmosphere was great, Hayden was a wonderful server. They have a wall of games to go play while eating and drinking also!

100% the best food in town; I could eat the drunken yardbird every day, & the staff actually cares about your experience. I have a hard time finding food I like at restaurants without modifying something, but every dish here feels like comfort food.

Late night food downtown, the staff that I met was cool and they didn’t make me feel bad about coming in late. You can bring your drink outside to smoke or hang out and there’s plenty of comfortable seating

I wished it was a bit more lively in there for a Saturday night, but the service was awesome. They have board games to play if you'd like, a great beer selection, full bar, and excellent food. Loved the battered fried brussels sprouts with their house made mustard sauce. Delicious!
