Feeling the need for something other than chicken tikka masala or biryani chicken, I had the salmon curry. I first liked that it was served more like a plated entree, not in a bowl with a side of rice. The “normal” spiciness was perfect - not too much but also not too mild. The mustard...
We ordered the palak paneer, garlic naan, and some rice. It was pretty bland, I ended up adding seasoning. Palak paneer is usually not that bland. The paneer was good though, I think they seared it. A nice place to have dinner. Run by a Bengali family from the area. They take pride in their cooking and service. This is a chef owned establishment. Food is quite good. Definitely with a second visit.
I ordered the mutton biryani and the kebab, both were exceptional. Later chatting with the chef realized that she just won an award for her Chicken Biryani so will have to try that next
