My husband and I are from Boise and decided to have a staycation in Nampa. We came across Jak’s neighborhood grill and it did not disappoint. The vibe was nice with live music playing, got sat quietly at the bar and our sever/bartender was super nice and informative. They even gave recommendations as well. Which one of the appetizers we loved was the fried zucchini. Perfectly crispy and had simple but, good flavor, and cut in the spears not chips, which is rare. I’d recommend asking your server about what dipping sauce would go well. Also the fact that they had gluten free options was a plus. Definitely gonna come back again and try other stuff!

I had t bone lettuce wraps. Wasn’t that good. Definitely order the tacos next time. They were good last time. Wife had pork chops. Said they were excellent.

After reading rave reviews online, we were highly disappointed. Poor customer service. Poor wait staff. Food came out with hair wrapped around it. Was remade after everyone was done eating. Requested condiments came out after a second request and when food was almost gone. Half of the group liked their food, the other half didn't, some was to the point of being spit out.

Amazing place to eat ! We have not been disappointed yet here. So dang good… the only thing is they are out of the popular dishes fairly often. Other than that this place is a great family spot.
Stopped for lunch, it was first visit. The food was quite good. I tried the finger steaks and they were far above average! One friend had the mushroom swiss burger, which he really enjoyed. Unfortunately, they seemed to be understaffed. It looked like there were only two servers. The service was good, but not as timely I imagine it regularly is.

Loud music that is intoxicatingly annoying. Forgot to give us napkins and took two buisness days for a check. 20 bucks for a cold burger? Wild. My burger was cold to the touch. I will say the fries and fry sauce was great. All in all I’d come back for fries and that’s about it. Lastly, they didn’t give us napkins. Actually nobody around us had napkins. Someone had to beg people around us for a napkin for his child’s bloody nose.
