The staff was quick and friendly. I had the quesa-birria and the mulita carnita. I chose the spicy birria dip and it was the best I have ever had, even making it myself. I will absolutely be back to this place anytime I visit.

The guys at the front counter were pretty busy on their phones. but were happy to help for the most part, between yelling at the employees. The food was very, very bland! I have had better Mexican food from an Asian restaurant. Was told they had amazing food. Never going back again, way better places in town!

The queso birria tacos were tasty! So good!! There was a line before it opened, so worth the wait! Line moved fairly quickly.

This place has some of the best tacos I’ve ever had!!! I am from Southern California and have grown up with authentic Mexican food. This place is as good and if not better than the places back home. Just wow!!

Yesterday, I ate a burrito that was okay; yet today I purchased a super burrito which was disgusting. It was inedible, the burrito was tasteless and slimy with so many disgusting flavors that I have zeroed out this business!

I've heard this place come up in different conversations recently and wanted to try it out. I'm on a constant quest to find the best cabeza tacos. Las Peñitas did not disappoint. Probably the best cabeza tacos I've had in Pocatello (and I've had a couple good ones for sure). Their horchata also appeared homemade and was some of the best I've had. Service was incredibly friendly, and prices were on point. There is a dining area but it's relatively small. I'll definitely be back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone. Excited to try out some of their other offerings. Bonus points for having a drive thru.

So confused by finding a plastic spoon in the quesa birra taco? Asked for no onions, got a million. Bummed

I have resided in California and Arizona, where I enjoy cooking and exploring exceptional eateries. This establishment offers affordable prices and generous portions, making it an ideal quick stop. The authenticity of their Hispanic cuisine is impressive. I highly recommend the tripe and spicy pork tacos. The staff provides an assortment of condiments and consistently demonstrates excellent customer service, particularly in accommodating my family's special requests. I highly recommend giving it a try.
