Olivers Restaurant is a classic place, not fast food, where everything is cooked to order. The staff is friendly and tries to know the regulars. With a great menu that makes it hard to choose, the green pepper soup is outstanding, and the chicken strips with mashed potatoes are delicious. The homemade rolls and apple pie are a must-try. Despite feeling a bit pricey, the portions are large, making it worth the visit, especially with 2 entrees for breakfast ensuring enough food. A visit to Olivers is worth the wait, and taking home a whole pie is highly recommended. The restaurant is also kid-friendly, with nobody yelling at the kids, and offers plenty of on or off-street parking. It is ADA compliant, although there is a need to upgrade the restrooms to better accommodate wheelchairs. Overall, the food is delicious, and the service is generally good, though drink refills could be more available. Olivers is a great choice for gatherings, and many customers plan to return often.
