the fish curry and strawberry lassi were both delicious, the server was incredibly helpful and polite, and the walls are a beautiful shade of lavender. the whole place is a 10/10, I will eat here again.

One of the best asian, nepali , indian food you get in Pocatello Idaho, in fact the region because I drive sometimes through Idaho and Wyoming from Utah and I can assure you that you will love the food, the owner is a sweet lady, you would definitely feel welcome and served the best way, every time we drive through Pocatello we must stop there for either lunch or dinner, try it and you will have the best experience and enjoy the food

It had been about 15 years since I’ve been here and somehow it’s still just as phenomenal. The owner was there and was so kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. You can tell they really care about the food and the people coming in. Easily one of the best Indian food spots around, hands down. The lamb curry was packed with flavor, the garlic naan was straight up magic, and the chicken tikka masala had me emotional in the best way. Everything came out fresh, hot, and honestly better than I remembered. And the samosas? So good. Crispy on the outside, warm and flavorful inside. I don’t even like vegetables like that and those were straight up heaven. I should’ve ordered more. I seriously waited way too long to come back. If you’ve been thinking about trying this place or haven’t been in a while, go. And if you don’t feel like going out, they do takeout and are on DoorDash, so there’s really no excuse. I’ll definitely be back soon.

I went an hour out of my way to eat here. I am diabetic and can’t have processed foods. I was so irritated to find they are utterly incompetent and can’t even update their website to proper hours. Owning a heavy duty truck it cost over $70 to go out of my way.

This is not only the best restaurant in Pocatello, but the best Indian food we’ve ever found (everywhere we travel we check out their Indian food scene and nothing has been as good)! A paradise for vegetarians to find a protein-rich meal. Our favorite is daal, chana masala and malai kofta.

I visited Idaho and was craving Indian food, so I stopped by Taste of Nepal. I ordered the chicken 65, but the lady at the counter was incredibly rude. When I asked if the meat is halal and if they had a certificate, she said the food is halal but they don't have a certificate, and if I wanted to see one, I should go to another restaurant. Unbelievable. If she wasn't so senior, I would've given her a piece of my mind. I chose to respect her age and left instead.

I called earlier today to order biryani. The person asked what biryani. I asked what options they had. They told me chicken, lamb, shrimp and vegetables. I asked if they had beef and they told me they didn't and said there were other restaurants in town that had that. I was trying to see if there were other beef options but they kept saying to go to the other restaurants. Its great that they were promoting other businesses but would be nice if they had tried to be more welcoming and offered me other options that could have made me order from them. I ended up ordering from a different place.
