“Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Food was very good. I had chicken fry with french fries and a salad. Probably wouldn't get the salad again because I was not a fan of the bean salad that was on top of it. But my husband and mother-in-law liked it. My son ordered the haystack, which was really good also. I will definitely be back and probably order that myself. Definitely recommend trying this place.“

“Bank first time diners 2 different generations (age 50's and age 80's) stopped for lunch. The 80's are locals and remember what was in building over last 40 years and commented good job on ambiance. atmosphere of intimate warmth and welcome upon entering from stove was delightful. Bar seating was inviting would have been fun but 80's didn't want legs to dangle. While we had our choice of street side view, we chose booth at semi-open view kitchen. Age group 50's immensely enjoyed the cod with fries. The tartar was good. The aioli was stupendous. Age group 80's ordered burger. Service was spot on with drinks and timing. Cocktail and beer list was not intimidating but sassy enough to entice.. Did not try any wine. Order up was served hot. The 80's age group thought fries were not crisp enough but already have it on their list to try for dinner before dark. Chef was personable and stopped to chat despite prepping for a Friday night which really was nice bonus for chef in group. From an elder view advice would mark stair steps“

“The iconic dish at Dover Bay is an excellent restaurant, a destination Resort for boat launch and camping and cabins and the food is amazing. Does shrimp polenta and the black cod are both so good. Everything is great! Online Reservations and Online Ordering are super cool for this summer!“

“Great for outdoor dining with a view. Friendly, efficient staff. Very limited, eccentric menu. The carrot-ginger soup was really tasty. the house salad was bland. My husband had the French dip with house potatoes and he said it was very good. I snuck a potato....garlicky, the bomb!“
