We made a dinner reservation for 10 people after our wedding ceremony and they were super accommodating! We showed up early, but we were able to sit in the lounge to have a couple drinks before dinner. The view from outside is amazing! Our table was right by the water which was perfect for our family members from out of town. The drinks, appetizers, and entrees exceeded our expectations. I've been living in Sandpoint for 5 years now and this was the best meal we've here in this area by far. They even cut our wedding cake for us! Huge shout out to our AMAZING server Stephanie! She was super attentive and extremely friendly. I've worked in the hospitality industry for a longgggg time and she was one of the best servers I've ever had!!! We will definitely be back. Thank you so much!!

It was one of the better restaurants we visited while in Sandpoint! Service was great food,was great! View was spectacular especially when we were able to watch 2 planes land on the lake and pull in for dinner. The music was wonderful as well. A great experience!

We have eaten at 41 South many times and are always pleased. We planned to celebrate a family birthday there tomorrow, but they will not be open. I'm not sure where we will go. Every other option will definitely be a second choice.

The Atmosphere. The View. The Staff. The Food..I don’t even know where to start. As a Sandpoint, Idaho native I have no idea how it took me 30 years to get here. We were greeted into a nice warming atmosphere (even on a stormy night) the power was flickering from the wind but it added character to the experience. Ken, our server was awesome. Not only was he funny and prompt but he was very genuine and up front which I always appreciate. The view was spectacular even being just after sun down, we watched the waves in the lake and the trees sway from the wind. The food was amazing, cooked perfectly, and was gorgeous. Pictures really don’t do it justice. Cannot wait to go back!!

Forty One South has released the spring menu, and a real winner is the chicken provolone Ravioli! A great meal at a beautiful restaurant. Great bar, too!

I made reservations for April 2 for dinner with a friend. We got a table by the window just like I requested. Our server was pleasant and attentive. Everything was very nice, except my entree. We ordered the bread basket and caesar salad for our first course, which were just right. My friend ordered the tortellini special and enjoyed it. Since I am a vegetarian I ordered the CACCIO E PEPE (one of 2 vegetarian entree options)... I know this is not an Italian restaurant and they don't cater to vegetarians...but this dish should be removed from the menu if it comes out the way I received it. It was plated nicely enough but on the plain/bland side. Angel hair pasta can be finicky to deal with, but a top notch restaurant should be able to handle that if they are serving it. The pasta, which i am guessing came out of a $.99 box was very overcooked and the "sauce" seemed to be cornstarch based, lacking a nice mouth feel and flavor, the best part of the pasta was the grated cheese on top. I didn't want to spoil our evening by making a complaint about the mediocre pasta but for a bill over $100 I probably should have. I also should have taken a picture of my glob of angel hair.3 Stars for great service and drinks.

Oh my gosh! I didn't treat myself to a full dinner but sat in the bar and had Crab Bisque and Steamed Clams. I can not wait to go back. What a delicious bite and gorgeous setting right there on Lake Pend Oreille. This is my absolute favorite treat!!
