Someone told me to come here and get the charred moose antlers. An interestingly crunchy idea.

I was here for business for 2 months, everyone told me the junkyard bistro was the best, and yes the bistro was good, but I would choose shady nook hands down. From the French onion soup, to the salads, to the steak.
I'd say this is the best in town!

My family and I moved here to Salmon from Florida about a year and a half ago. Hands down, the best food in town. Even outside of salmon, I would say that this is some of the better food I've had in a long time.
It's a low-key town so don't expect any five star service. But the food is well worth it.

We were a little disappointed in the fish and chips but my chicken Marsala was delicious, the chicken wasn't quite as tender as I would have liked, but the sauce loaded with mushrooms was heavenly. The loaded baked potato I was served was humongous and had great flavor. Our waitress was very pleasant. All in all it was a solid place to eat, but not quite 5 star.

Wait was a little long for our drinks and pricey. Best part of the night was a private little spotin in the front. Loved the dim lighting... And the mud pie desert was the best we have ever had...

Yummy food! I enjoyed the huckleberry trout, my husband loved his chicken sandwich and my son had the kids beef and cheddar roll which was HUGE. Also they made a great huckleberry iced tea and martini! Great service !

Food is decent, except the fish and chips because that is amazing. Preferred the old lounge area with the old wooden benched tables but the remodel is ok.
