“I've lived in Sandpoint for 25 years now but I grew up in Texas where BBQ was an every weekend thing. I have tried for years to find a good BBQ place in North Idaho but just haven't found a place that really captured the BBQ that I grew up with. Until now. We live down the street from Smokesmith and we walk by frequently. It smells amazing when they are smoking the meats. We finally decided to give it a shot. I was NOT disappointed! The BBQ was super reminiscent of my childhood! The flavors are rich and smokey, the meats are amazingly tender, melt in your mouth! The sides were delish and filling! I got a platter with brisket, pulled pork, and German Sausage. I have to say they nailed it! It was even better than a BBQ place I used to frequent in Austin! Sooo good!“
