Sawtooth Hotel

This is a rustic hotel in an authentic western town with dirt streets and hitching posts.The food was excellent and presented in a way that one might expect in a high end California or NY eatery. Service was very good too. Attentive but never bordering on annoying.I'd recommend this eatery to discriminating diners. Price was surprisingly reasonable.The town and surrounding hotels and resorts pretty much closes for the winter on October 14th so don't show up in December.

Small but clean room behind the main building. Great views of the Sawtooth Mtns from the property. We had a great, actually amazing dinner in the restaurant there. Had the opportunity to meet the owner and learn some history of the property and town of Stanley. Highly recommend staying here or visiting the restaurant. Get the brisket, get the brisket, get the brisket. I can't say it enough times, it's the diamond of brisket. No, just order anything on this menu because everything is out of this world. This place contributes to the elevated status of Stanley in the food world, which I am not sure has yet been discovered. This is a world-class establishment in the town of 63 people. How?
