I know a lot of people love this place, but for me, it was just okay. The food was good, but not exceptional. The salsa is very watery. The service is just okay. They are not super friendly, but not rude either. I go here because it is close to my house and convenient.

The service here has always been wonderful. Food is very delicious. The chip and salsa, bean dip premeal is great. Really like the bean dip with cilantro. Stake El Mexican taste fabulous. Thank you for continuing to taste great with service.
I've eaten here many times and it is always busy. Mexican is my favorite food and I grew up on it...so I can't give this 5 stars...but I think for most people this would be a 5 star restaurant. I shared a combo plate with my daughter consisting of a cheese enchilada (very good), chili relleno and shredded beef taco. All very good, but not the best I've had. The shredded beef flavoring was a bit strong and the taco was dry with too much meat and not enough lettuce and tomato...but of course this is my preference. My grandchildren enjoyed a kids meal of grilled cheese and fries. Overall our experience was good, but we waited quite a long time for our food and then our check. Possibly a little understaffed.
