A Gretchen’s feast. The Sun Valley Lodge is one of the few good places left that hasn’t lost its charm and integrity. Joe the server was funny, pleasant, and quick to take our order. The small details were executed perfectly, from the froth on the cappuccino to the crispy home fries. The house made gravy over biscuits passed the test. 5 stars across the board. Thank you Chef TJ!!

Gretchen's is a beautiful and welcoming setting for guests and visitors at the at the Sun Valley resort. It's not pretentious but it's very nice. The food is always prepared well. We often eat here multiple times during our stays and always enjoy the experience.

Not good. Hostess. Told us all the tables were filled up with people who had reservations. They said this was the case even though they were visibly very many tables open on the patio. We looked online. They still had reservations available. Made a reservation and came back 15 minutes later, you were then seated, the wait staff was overworked and visibly stressed. Our server was good. But because we were seated outside and they had too much space to walk between the kitchen and...
