Beautiful lodge with historic pictures. Timing of service seemed a bit off on this visit. The five of us each drank three glasses of water before our other beverages arrived at the table. We were grateful for the water refills. When asked, the server did not yet know the nightly seafood and steak specials. He left and returned with that information. The quality / cut of ribeye was subpar on both ordered. The tempura green bean appetizer was awesome.

The manager and server were wonderful. World class service. Loved the wine, starters, and my duck confit. Thank you so much for making me and my guests feel so special on my big day!

A Gretchen’s feast. The Sun Valley Lodge is one of the few good places left that hasn’t lost its charm and integrity. Joe the server was funny, pleasant, and quick to take our order. The small details were executed perfectly, from the froth on the cappuccino to the crispy home fries. The house made gravy over biscuits passed the test. 5 stars across the board. Thank you Chef TJ!!
