The meat was pretty good. I wish they had more choice of sauce , as most bbq joints have options. The flies in the facility are killer , so be prepared for that.

The restaurant has great food, but only when they have enough of it… I’ve come by two days in a row and the first time they were out of sausage and the next day they were out of Brisket. Hopefully they fix the problem because it’s quite delicious to eat here, but frustrating that they’re can’t keep inventory.

As a consequence of BBQ & someone who lives in the land of BBQ.
I would highly recommend The Smokey Bone to anyone. Brisket, pulled pork, and chicken were flavorful and moist. Ordered French fries little disappointed figured I was in the Land of Potatoes and was going to get some fresh cut fries. Instead frozen. That wasn’t enough to give less than a 5 star review for.

Excellent experience. The ribs were 10/10 to die for especially with the bbq sauce on them! YUMMMM. Service was great, the girls are so sweet and I got a sampler of the coleslaw to see if I liked it. Definitely recommend. Cornbread and mac were really good too. Love that people can donate meals!

Delicious food! Nachos spicy, or anything with the Pico has small jalapeño cut up just a heads up. Street tacos also delicious. Hard to decide what to order it all looks amazing!

For one plate being $30 is tough.. spending that money on dry meat was not ideal… but the sauce is 10/10 definitely carry’s the meat. Owner seems to have a great deal of pride and as he should starting a buisness but man that meat was dry dry

The Smokey bone is one of the worst things I have ever eaten in my entire life. It is just plain awful. The meat itself if dry, overcooked, and under seasoned. I spit out the brisket because it was such a disgrace to meat. The sausage… I’ll leave that to your imagination, truly horrific. The bbq sauce relies on spice instead of flavor. They are better off serving raw potato’s over the potato salad it is so bad. Truly a disgrace to idaho. The beans taste like dirt water, they belong in the trash. The fact that they call this bbq should be criminal, I’m sure they serve better food in prison. 1/10. Completely disappointed. Waste of money. Overpriced garbage. Drink beer and eat the pizza.

We ate here twice in the last week. Mom liked the brisket. I ordered the pulled pork. I liked the pork, but it was a little salty and I found a small piece of bone in the pork both times. The coleslaw is good. Service is OK. If you order takeout, make sure to get your own napkins, utensils, and sauce.

I feel like I must’ve gotten them on a bad day or something. Never tried the place before and have been in Canada for the past year (Canadians do NOT know how to BBQ) so was really looking forward to trying some all American classics again. Ordered the 3 meat 3 side combo for delivery with Brisket, Turkey, and Pulled Pork. The pulled pork was phenomenal, no complaints. But the Brisket was basically jerky😭 it was so unbelievably dry and the worst part is they forgot any sauces so I literally choked it down. The flavor was good but I started to get the feeling that whoever cooked that day must’ve just left the kitchen and forgot to come back. Opened my Corn Bread container and all I could see was black. I flipped it over to discover that my cornbread and been deeply burnt on one side. Bummer. Moved on to the turkey just to have the same overall experience as the Brisket. I couldn’t eat all of it in one sitting because of how dry it was. Legit had to take water breaks haha.

I’ll likely give them another go after reading through other reviews but I honestly felt so let down after waiting so long for some good bbq.
