Locked the doors in our face so they could close early on a Sunday. Saw us and couldn’t be bothered to talk to us. Just let us stand in front confused looking when the door was locked early. I can never understand this mindset in restaurants. Why set hours if you don’t abide by them. But they sort of did us a favor as we bounced over to Big Hole BBQ which was excellent and good customer service.

I waited over an hour and a half for a very basic burger, and unfortunately the long wait wasn’t the worst part. This place is in serious need of attention from a health inspector. The bathroom was covered in grime and clearly hasn’t been scrubbed in ages, and the dish pit in the back looked like it needs a deep clean. Based on the state of things, I’d be surprised if the deep fryers ever get changed.
On top of that, I was swarmed with flies while waiting for my food. Installing a few fly traps would go a long way.
I honestly don’t understand how this place has five stars. If you value your time and a clean environment, do yourself a favor and drive the 40 minutes back into Jackson for better food and service.
I don’t enjoy leaving reviews like this (sorry girls working and chef on the line), but I’d strongly recommend the owner invest in cleaning supplies, revisiting daily cleaning routines, fly control in the later summer early fall months and daily kitchen upkeep. Until those improvements happen, my review stands at 1 star. Yuck. Someone hand me some mouthwash and a shower after this place. GNARLY!

i'm from philly & i love the beef cheesesteak at brakeman's ! the meat / cheese /onion combo is done perfectly and the roll is almost as good as you can get in philly.

Delicious hamburgers! The portion sizes were great also - we actually split a cheeseburger and they were kind enough to put it on two different plates for us before serving. Our server was knowledgeable about gluten and told us that the fries are not cooked separately. Highly recommend if you are in Victor on a day it is actually open.

I ordered the Teriyaki Burger for pickup, and wow—after living in the U.S. for 10 years, I can honestly say this was the most flavorful and satisfying burger I've ever had. Most burgers are too salty for me, but this one was seasoned just right. The portion was generous, and every bite was delicious. Even the potato chips (or were they fries?) on the side were amazing!
I live in California now, but if I ever travel to this area again, I’ll definitely be ordering this burger again. Highly recommend!
