“OMG! I have missed good take out since going vegan, and this place blew my mind! They had all the classic Chinese rake out dishes. Everything I got tasted exactly like what I remember prior to being vegan. I got sweet and sour chicken, vegan salt & pepper shrimp, wonton soup, and bean paste dessert rice balls. Everything was heavenly and wish I had stuff like this where I lived. I will definitely be back when I'm in the Chicago area again! Heck, I'd travel just for this food! I love that it's located in Chinatown too, which is a very cool area! The menu labeled what wasn't vegan/had egg & dairy.“

“Lao Sichuan has the most authentic and consistently amazing Chinese food to be found anywhere in the U.S. Having spent some time living in China while I was in undergrad, there are certain flavors that I crave, which your run of the mill American style Chinese restaurant will not have. My wife and I live in St Charles and make the 1 hour 20 minute round trip at least once a week to get our fix. The food is that good. The owner is seemingly always there, and obviously genuinely cares about ensuring quality in what is served every time. Our favorites are Chengdu Style King Pao Chicken, Ma Po Tofu, Beef in Pure Cumin Powder, Toothpicks Lamb, and the Xiao Long Bao. I cannot for the life of me fathom how this restaurant does not have a higher rating. It is the best. Try it. You won't regret it.“

“My mom and I came for lunch service the other day before going to see a show at Stolp Island Theater. It was perfect walking distance from the theater. The restaurant is beautiful on the inside, the service was fantastic, and the food was delicious. Definitely a place that I will be returning. The Apple potato soup was very good, as was the panini. Our pot of tea hit the spot as well. Everything was very fresh tasting. Can’t wait to go back to try other things.“

“The menu is extensive, food is freshly made and delicious and the soups are better than any restaurant soup I have ever had.... I have to admit, I am "addicted" to the soups, primarily the Baked Potato Soup. I could eat that every day. I am what one would call "a regular" thru the drive thru for most often, the soup, however, the salads and variety that they offer are plentiful and again, delicious.... Highly recommend the Patio/Aurora, IL.“

“We stopped in as we were passing through for dinner & let me say we were so glad we did. The atmosphere was wonderful, service was very friendly & the food was amazing. Their sirloin was so delicious. We’ve had many good steaks in our lives but for the price it was very tasty. The chicken Alfredo was pretty great too but the lava cake, which was a last minute decision, was to die for. Not sure when we will be up in that area again, but let me see if we are, we will be back. Didn’t get a picture of the steak, but this was the wonderful dessert!“

The Domo mustard is the absolute best addition to a Hibachi dish and if you don’t believe me, go try it! Amazing and unique drink menu, great desert, and fantastic Hibachi dining atmosphere!“

“John is very cordial and polite. He really goes out his way to provide excellent service. The Shrimp Egg Foo Yong was very good. I had General Tao's Shrimp today and wasn't pleases. The owner was took the time to explain the cooking process and made other recommendations. She even met me half way with costs so it wasn't a total loss. I will come back.“
