“I came here two days back to back - one afternoon for a smoothie and next morning for breakfast and this is one of the best cafe's I've been too. The staff really took great care to prepare my smoothie perfectly and it was delicious! Next morning, the breakfast was healthy with great taste as well. What impressed me most was the outstanding service provided by JC and Eric this morning. They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my meal and I was treated very well!. Kudos to JC and Eric for their excellent service who are superstars themselves and Tropical Smoothie Cafe is a 5-Star cafe!

“The owner is a very sweet person with welcoming vibes. The refreshers are great; my most favorite refresher is the blue blast. My favorite smoothie there is Mixed Berries with add on peanut butter and granola pieces. They also have Wi-Fi. Highly recommend you guys to check this place out some day!“

“Jamba decided that it would be acceptable to charge us $1.50 for a small cup of ice water with our order of three Jamba Juices. Apparently, hubby said it came up as $0 but then the clerk backed it out snd charged us $1.50. I would have told her to take her tap water and shove it - with my whole order but husband was nicer.“

“I do not have any complaints about the food, but I have been bothered by a situation which occurred while we were here. I brought 2 of my young granddaughters here last week. We arrived around 11:15 and planned to stay and eat our açaí bowls for lunch. While we were deciding what to order, there were 12-15 high school girls who came in and took every seat to eat their lunches which they brought from home. I believe 1 girl ordered something, but the rest sat and ate their lunches which they did not order from this establishment. We left after getting our food and walked home to eat since there were no seats for us to sit. I can’t believe people are allowed to bring their own food into this place to eat and take up every seat. I was visiting Glen Ellyn, so I don’t know if this is a common practice of restaurants to allow people to bring in their own food? But, I have never experienced this in other towns, and would be embarrassed if one of my family members would do this! And, I would imagine these girl’s parents don’t take their own food into the restaurants in Glen Ellyn! I did not see any sign on the door which said “paying patrons only”, so assume it is okay with management?“

“Food is amazing as always. I tried the chocolate cookie for once and it was pretty decent. One thing that stood out were the workers. This tropical by far, had the best employees. They are so kind from greeting you when walking in, to ordering, to saying, “have a good day” when leaving. 🙌“

“Great variety of boba and traditional fruit smoothies. I got the brown sugar boba, non dairy, made with black tea as well. PLEASE remember to shake it before you put the straw in it cause flavor is key here. Tapioca is made fresh you can taste it, tea brewed perfectly and it’s delicious. Atmosphere is so cute. I recommend this place to anyone who likes boba or anyone who wants a fresh fruit smoothie! Great variety of flavors and milk options which isn’t common!“

“Tried Hangry Joe’s in Glendale Heights for takeout and everything was delicious. We ordered the Sando burger, chicken fingers, wings, loaded mac & cheese, and fries, medium spicy across the board. The spice level was perfect with unique, flavorful seasoning. The chicken was big, juicy, and cooked perfectly. Kids loved the mac & cheese, fingers, wings, and fries. We went around 3 PM, enjoyed great hospitality, a nice ambience, and even caught a cricket match on their huge screen. Plenty of parking and a great location. With so many fast-food options nearby, Hangry Joe’s really stands out. Will definitely be back, next time going spicier on the Sando! 🌶️🍔“

“Babam is fantastic! I work about five minutes from the establishment and had no idea it existed until a coworker and I stopped by for sweet treat after work. I got the Ube Oreo Boba and she got one of the milk tea flavors and it was delicious. The owner is very kind and the prices are reasonable. My coworker and I loved that we got the chance to sit and color, play some board games and just chat after a long and stressful day of teaching.“

“Food was very good. I ended up with chilaquiles (with chicken breast) and my friend got the pupusas and dobladas. Really solid, and I appreciate the subtle differences in flavors between the Guatamalan dishes and standard Mexican fare. However, only 4/5 because ordering (in English) was difficult. I tried to get grilled skirt steak and a green chicken enchilada (as a single item, listed that way on the menu) but what was originally brought out was 3 green chicken enchiladas. I explained the issue and thought it was clear but ended up getting brought the chilaquiles. My friend got his pupusas but the dobladas was not brought and had to be ordered again. The food was delicious and I'm not a picky eater so this wasn't a huge deal, but others that need to order a specific thing, in English, may have trouble. I will be back though, and I will brush up on my Spanish.“

I like that it’s a small staff that they get to know you and what you like. I tried a couple of things, but once they recommended the Dubai chocolate WOW!! I have to tell myself not to go every day. The Zumba class is an escape from the stressors of daily life-like a night out dancing!
