Food was very good. I ended up with chilaquiles (with chicken breast) and my friend got the pupusas and dobladas. Really solid, and I appreciate the subtle differences in flavors between the Guatamalan dishes and standard Mexican fare.
However, only 4/5 because ordering (in English) was difficult. I tried to get grilled skirt steak and a green chicken enchilada (as a single item, listed that way on the menu) but what was originally brought out was 3 green chicken enchiladas....read full review

Los Chapines Tortillería fantastic food one of the best in the area. Customers start with salsa and chips. Salsa described as amazingly tasteful and chips a great complement. Customers order steak taco plate, chicken taco, chicken enchiladas, beefsteak dinner, beef enchilada with beans, vegetable tostada, bean tostada, chicharron, queso papusa, shuco, chilaquiles, desayuno chapin. Reviewers note steak taco plate very flavorful, rice fluffy, beans excellent. Portion sizes huge, plate portions good enough. Green sauce on chilaquiles a little spicy but very good. Desayuno chapin delicious, breakfast exactly what ate growing up, flavor was there. Service great, they friendly, several options. Kids go when want authentic Mexican food. Waters wish ice in cup but ok. Atmosphere home feeling, friendly, service great, staff patient while order. Ice cream store next door connected to restaurant.
