For connoisseurs of Chinese food. Perfect in taste and portion size. Don't overdo it with oil and spices, not too much salt. Order it for delivery, the restaurant doesn't have a good area for guests.

Best chinese food in Algonquin and Lake in the hills. Mongolian beef spicy and spicy beef fried rice is the way to go. Good portions and fair price.

Our favorite go to Chinese take out! Everything is delicious and the portions are more than generous! Online ordering ahead so it is ready when I get there....the best!

We've been ordering from them off and on for approximately 8 years. Food was good which is why we kept coming back. However over the past 6 months or so the quality has gone downhill. The Mongolian beef is more like Mongolian vegetables. The egg rolls are barely crispy. The appetizer platter....shrimp toast was burnt. Other shrimp overcooked and the chicken was very tough. The manager said she would give us something next time we ordered. However what should have been offered was some measure of a refund for providing food that was inedible. Why would we continue to order from them? This has become ridiculous at best.

First time eating here. Had orange chicken lunch special. Came with soup , chicken fried rice and an egg roll. Orange chicken was crispy, right balance of sweet and spicy. Egg roll tasty and crispy. Perfect fried rice. Was greeted with a welcome smile upon walking in. Will return:)

Ordered 1 large Mongolian Beef and 1 large Happy Family over the phone (Friday night at 6:20pm) - the girl on the phone said it would be 15-20 minutes. I pulled in at the 21 minute mark (6:41pm), paid, and was told it was going to be "a few more minutes", so I sat down to wait. There were 4 other people in the dining area waiting before me. An order came out just 6:56pm, and they called out a name, but it wasn't me. Another order came out about 13 minutes later (7:09pm) - again, not mine. Another 12 minutes went by (7:21pm) and another order came out - you guessed it, not mine. During this period a couple of additional orders were placed in the pick up area for the delivery courier. 7:39pm my order finally came out. Based on the spacing of the orders coming out of the kitchen I suspect they had 1 chef and he was only making one order at a time. One hour and 19 minutes for Chinese take-out. I get the food home and the Happy Family container was overfilled and was leaking all over. (Instead of removing some so the lid would close the chef just put it in a separate plastic bag so if it leaked - and it did - it wouldn't soak through the paper bag.) Shaking head in dismay. Aside from the extreme prep time, and the mess inside the bag, the steamed rice was slightly under cooked and actually had some slightly crunchy grains (c'mon guys, how can you screw up steamed rice????). Lastly, I always tip take out places similarly to what I would a sit down restaurant. In this case I wish I didn't leave a tip because the service was pathetic, and the food overall was just average. Won't be going back.

Overall, a solid 4 stars. We found out about this place during the pandemic. It's the best of the 3 closet Chinese takeout near us. We've never been disappointed. I really like their Singapore noodles. The orange chicken isn't bad either. The fried rice is decent too. This place is one of our go-to places when we don't feel like cooking, but still want some leftovers for lunch or dinner the next day.

So glad my husband and I found this place today ! Since it was our fist time here, the person at the counter gladly explained everything. Food was amazing. Now this will be our spot for Chinese food.
