Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant- Algonquin

The food was good as always at Cooper's Hawk but the service really struggled to keep up with the completely jammed restaurant. It took us 90 minutes to get our food from the time we sat down. Our waitress visited us often and made up with the long wait time with both her smile and keeping our drinks filled. The Baked Shrimp Scampi was delicious - I had never tried it before. No leftovers because for once, it was a perfect portion. We all had the Lobster Bisque or Wedge Salads and they did not disappoint. The Asian Salmon is always good and the Tenderloins were tender and cooked perfectly. We did not stay for dessert.

Absolutely love this place. Better than the other locations and the food simply can't be beat!

Each time we go the restaurant seems to get louder and louder. Last night it was hard to carry on a conversation

Chris (maybe Chris O) was a great server in the dining room. He was attentive and patient even when we had our toddler with us. I liked how he brought us our two tastings of cab and lux cab and let us see which one we liked better without telling us which is which.

The specials were delicious and our server was excellent. It is pretty loud when it gets busy but still highly recommended

We just finished celebrating our daughter's college graduation at the Cooper's Hawk in Algonquin. I cannot say enough about the awesome experience we had. Starting with Angelina handling all the details to the planning of the event, to the room being set up just perfect; to Joel and Natalie who were the absolute best servers we could have had; to the delicious food (OMG the salmon) and dessert that was served; and of course, not to mention the wonderful wine tasting bar. All our guests were so impressed! Thank you, Cooper's Hawk, for taking such good care of us. You made our celebration one we will remember.

I go to this location every month with family. when we went this time we had an amazing experience with our waiter Juel he is very friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu

My husband and I love this location. We’ve been here for numerous occasions from Mother’s Day celebrations and our most recent one our 18th year marriage anniversary. The staff is lovely.

Food, service and atmosphere are all topnotch. Its a top tier restaurant without the pressure of a stuffy atmosphere. You can order an incredible meal but still wear jeans and a nice blouse, while receiving incredible service. Its our go-to anniversary and birthday spot

Gianna is an amazing server. We’ve been here 5 or 6 times service was ok- Gianna was excellent. She was attentive, kind, and just over all made the date night. Promote her, she’s the best!
