Byrd's Hot Chicken is a great spot for spicy, full-flavored chicken. The chicken is juicy and crispy with a great crunch—crispier than 90% of chicken restaurants. The medium sauce is hot, just what you expect from a Nashville Chicken spot. The flavor is good, and the chicken is seasoned well. The homemade ranch is great, and the 24k sauce is a standout—hands down the best chicken for flavor, texture, and quality. Different spice levels are available for customization. The chicken sandwich is really good, and the fries are also good. Milkshakes are refreshing. The Mac and cheese, however, is not a favorite. Customer service is quick and fast, with folks behind the counter who are super nice, genuine, and kind. Byrd's Hot Chicken distinguishes itself through creativity and imagination, offering bold concepts and inventive presentations of hot chicken. The menu is both fun and flavorful, with energetic, confident cooking. It is absolutely worth coming back for, whether craving something spicy or just delicious chicken.
