Overcharged on my order.
Apparently you are charged more at the register than what's listed on the menu.
Staff was polite when I asked about the discrepancy, but said there's nothing they could do about it.
That's a shady business move by management.
Cute atmosphere, great food, has something for everyone

The coffee is great here, the staff always kind, and I love that they offer gluten free bread. Unfortunately, the kitchen struggles to consistently use the gluten free bread when it's ordered and I have ended up with regluar bread several times. This can be dangerous for those with celiacs and also just disappointing when having left without double checking and realizing you cannot enjoy your meal.
Many employees worked very slow and seemed to have an attitude. My flamingo smoothie was mostly ice and had almost no flavor :(

Great dirty chai, potentially the worst grilled cheese of my life. Will be coming back for the vibes

Great place for a coffee and a healthy meal.
Great drinks, great food, awesome staff. Gave it 4 stars because sometimes the music selection and volume is obnoxious. Makes you not want to be in there. Hopefully they’ll look into lo-fi, downtempo, chill house, light jazz, acoustic, indie. Not make people put on noise canceling headphones.

Such a good coffee shop to have in Algonquin. Coming from Chicago I got addicted to the vibe of a good shop and this one hits all the buttons. Super excited to work here at least a handful of times a month. Solid burger, too. You wouldn't expect it so good from a coffee spot!

I really enjoy this place. Drinks are great, the service is good and the food is good. Great place to work and study. However, it is an odd experience to order something and be charged a different price than stated on the menu and be told the menu hasn't been updated. Seems to me that menu prices should be honored. Hence, 4 stars vs. 5.
Saturday is the only day our whole family can enjoy breakfast together, and we chose Daily Project as our go-to spot because it has a nice atmosphere and a local vibe. Unfortunately, this is the second time we’ve had a disappointing experience.
Both times, we waited over 20 minutes for our food, and our order ended up being forgotten or lost entirely. With young kids who were hungry and restless, this was really frustrating. The first time, we gave the benefit of the doubt and assumed it was just a one-off issue. But now that it’s happened again, it’s clear there’s a problem with organization or service.
We really wanted to enjoy this place and make it part of our weekend routine, but sadly, the experience has made that difficult. We hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves how orders are handled — especially during busy family breakfast times.
It was my first time and it was a great experience. The food and cold brew were so good. It was quick and such a pleasant experience with plenty of space between others! Highly recommend!
