I placed a pickup order at the Algonquin location .
The same thing I usually order. Large thin crust and a chopped Chicken Salad. I was told 30 to 35 minutes.
I walked into the restaurant 35 minutes after I placed the call.
The girl behind the counter was looking at her phone and was sitting so low I did not even see her at first.
I paid for the order and when the employee went around the counter to retrieve my food, she learned that no one started the order.

Here’s what we emailed them… not that they care: We just spoke with the rudest manager I’ve ever spoken with in my life. The food at Giordano’s is great. I even find myself craving their thin crust pizzas.
But the restaurant in Algonquin, IL needs to change their blinds. Every time I drive past the restaurant I think it closed down and they have bars on the windows. I’m sure they are fine close up, but imagine they are losing some business from those driving by.

Giordano's, a renowned pizza establishment, offers a delightful dining experience for those seeking a hearty and comforting meal. The deep dish pizza, praised as the "best deep dish" by customers, is the star of the show, with its rich and flavorful crust. The thin crust pizza is also noted as amazing. While the ordering process may be unconventional, with customers needing to order and pay at the counter, the friendly staff ensures a pleasant interaction. Although the atmosphere has been described as "sad and depressing" by some, it does not take away from the overall enjoyment of the meal. Customers have expressed satisfaction with the spaghetti and meatballs family meal, as well as the chicken caprese dish. Some recent reviews mention issues with service and forgotten orders, but the staff has been described as welcoming and helpful, even accommodating requests for remakes. Despite a few minor hiccups, such as a melted marinara container and overcooked garlic cheese bread, Giordano's remains a reliable and satisfying option for those craving a delicious meal. Parking is plentiful, making it easy to visit this establishment.
