Great local pizza place in Algonquin, Il. The staff were nice and engaging. The pizza, which is Detroit style was light, crispy and delicious. The price point is reasonable. Very good experience.
Want a solid Detroit-style pizza in the Chicagoland area? Look no further than Pizza Pushers in Algonquin. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised at the lovely crispy crunch of the crust mixed with the flavorful cheese and sauce. Simply yummy! The owner takes pride in his product and business and was so friendly and came out to ask us how everything was and if he could get us anything. The owner took great care of us knowing I had a longer drive home with the pizzas by giving us extra hot honey packets, extra sauce, and not cutting the pizza beforehand. The pizza (hell raiser and the kids loved their cheese pizza) was outstanding, as expected based on the great reviews, I just wish we had even more and were closer because now we dont have leftovers!
