Terrible attitude of girl in drive thru taking orders. Your order is incorrect 95% of the time at this location. Pricey for what you get. If you want Portillo’s you’re better off going to a different one in the area.

I really don’t go out of my way to write a review…
I went here on a lunch break. Food took forever, employees were throwing bags around behind the counter with peoples food, and 90% through eating my burger I found hair that’s obviously not mine at the bottom of the box.
So gross and lack of respect for people’s purchases…

Missed a couple items on my family's large order, they fixed the issue easily and walked out happy. And other times the service is just as great!

Portillo’s is hands-down one of the best hot dog places you can find. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is fun, clean, and fast-paced, and the staff keeps things moving even when it’s busy.
The Chicago-style hot dog is absolutely perfect — fresh poppy seed bun, snappy all-beef dog, and the classic toppings done right. Everything tastes fresh and high quality, and the portions are generous. Their Italian beef is also incredible, juicy, and packed with flavor, and the cheese fries are dangerously addictive.
What really stands out is the consistency. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick lunch or bringing friends from out of town, Portillo’s always delivers great food and great value. It’s a must-visit for anyone who loves comfort food done right.

I went there on Feb 2 for lunch. While I was there a lady brought in her dog, this was not a service animal as she was letting people pet the dogs, and working dogs are not supposed to be touched by others when they are working. Dog hair was flying around when people (adults) were petting the dog. This is highly unsanitary and when brought to the managers attention, he brushed it off like it was no big deal. Did not even attempt to talk to the customer, so it seems by the managers lack of care they allow animals inside this location. So anyone with pets, they seem welcome inside this location.

Came in late and ordered a single cheese burger and it smacked for days. Up there we the best ever.
Annoyed they didn't have their milk shake machine going, but they gave me a refund.

Late night stop for dinner with my husband and there is nothing worse than trying to eat and fighting off flies. It screams your place is dirty. Dead of winter so they didn't come from outside. Makes eating and the experience very unenjoyable.

Brand new Portillos built more on the modern side with a few retro themes here and there. Beef sandwich seems a little smaller than some other Portillos.

As a word of caution, I tried using their app to order my food and it gave a 50 minute window for pickup. Much easier to go to the restaurant and place an order inside. Outside of that complaint, the food was good.

I’m used to visit Portillo’s in Willowbrook and it’s twice the size of this portillos, this location is too crowded and too noisy to enjoy dine in.
