“Best Bread I have ever had, and I have been chasing down good bread for 50 years. I have had six different breads, all great. But the trading pane and the sesame are my favorites. Splurge for the tempered butter, it is worth it. Fantastic salads and soups, too. And the smoked beets are to die for!! Worth it to go just for that.“

Our group was walking back to our car when the tornado sirens started going off and the green suddenly turn nasty green. It was terrifying. We dashed into their storefront. The staff was calm and went out of their way to make sure everyone was safe.“

“Love the sweets and the savories at SweetArt. Our favorite burgers are the Sweet Burger and the Make it Funky Burger. I love the Big Mama cinnamon bun and always have to check out their cupcake selection. Their new location is spacious and has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating! “This is the absolute best vegan cheesecake I have ever had!! We ordered the strawberry shortcake for thanksgiving and it perfect! I placed an order online and it was delivered the day before Thanksgiving with no problems whatsoever. The presentation was beautiful and everyone was so impressed. I cannot recommend this place enough!“

“We love El Chico so much! We asked them if they would provide cookies for our wedding (after a different dessert vendor stopped responding to us), and we are honestly so happy we ended up with them! El Chico was so easy to work with, so kind, and so helpful. We already knew their baked goods were delicious (we always stop for some cookies at the Tower Grove Farmer's Market), but our guests raved about the empanadas. “While I can say that it's vastly superior to the other truck stops that I have encountered in Missouri and offers far more services amenities and hospitality to professional drivers and regular automobile driver's alike, it is still a truck stop with inflated prices and all of the strange brands the normal motorists do not encounter in day-to-day life.The showers here were clean serviceable and enjoyable. There is a television room and a small area for people to eat. There is also a small casino area. There is a small criminal element at this particular establishment. But that is to be expected and compared to some of the other elements I've encountered while in Missouri it is welcome in it's sparity.All together I can say that this truck stop is where you would want to go were you transiting from Missouri to Illinois on a normal commute.An excellent establishment.“
