Everything from their Italian cookies, chocolate drops, gooey butter cakes, pastries, literally everything we get is delicious. I had honestly never found a cannoli that I actually liked before trying one from the Missouri Baking Co! You gotta get one when you're there next! Along with everything else they offer! They have the most delicious desserts from anywhere you can purchase them! And they have the best staff who are so helpful and friendly and it's such a fun little place that we have to stop at every time we're in St. Louis!“

Let’s discuss the gooey butter cheesecake. I would rub this on my body. I am not being dramatic. Actually, I am being a little dramatic, but have you tried it?!

I also tried the Dubai chocolate cheesecake, because obviously I cannot be trusted around a dessert counter. It was delicious, but I honestly don’t know if anything can dethrone the gooey butter cheesecake for me.

The other fun part is that Patty’s is inside City Foundry, so a cheesecake run can turn into an entire outing. Wander through the food hall, explore the other vendors, grab a bite, and then reward yourself with dessert. Or start with dessert.

If you’re visiting St. Louis and want to try something that feels distinctly local, this is a worthy stop. And if you live here and haven’t tried the gooey butter cheesecake yet, I have some serious questions about your priorities.“

“Unequivocally one of the best Bosnian bakeries in St Louis. They bake their lepinja breads fresh on saturdays and the pitas will literally be hot to the touch and fresh out of the oven. There’s no menu but the bakers also make delectable burek that is sold out within minutes of opening at 9am, so you’ll either need to call in advance to order or get there right at opening time!“

There is a television room and a small area for people to eat. There is also a small casino area. There is a small criminal element at this particular establishment. But that is to be expected and compared to some of the other elements I've encountered while in Missouri it is welcome in it's sparity.All together I can say that this truck stop is where you would want to go were you transiting from Missouri to Illinois on a normal commute.An excellent establishment.“

If you are looking for a Starbucks alternative and want more food options, this is your place.“
