“Place not so big but the music selection is up 2 date, the food is good & the drinks are exceptional! I don’t recommend you go during tax season because you won’t be able to get in because of the crowds! Other than that this is a great place to go for drinks and wings“

“My first visit here. I did not get to try any food. That's because lunch hours are 12:00 to 3:00 pm, and the kitchen opens back up at 5:00 p.m. I picked up my order today. I called it in. Please make sure when you call in your order to check to see what the specials are and how much they cost. According to the post, the special on Wednesday is a patty melt with fries for $6. When I got there they told me there was no special on patty melts. So I paid the regular price of $10.50 each. It's not a bad price but I was expecting to pay $12 in tax for two. I did go over the post with the cashier to make sure of any other specials going on during the week and of course the other specials were legit but not the one today. So I don't understand why the patty melt was not a special today.

Okay, let's get to the food. The patty melt was delicious. It was seasoned perfectly. The onions were grilled perfectly. The food was nice and hot.

I will come back again but I'm going to double-check to make sure about the prices before I do.

It's a great spot to hang out for lunch and dinner. There are less than 20 items on the menu but they are nicely priced. Also, if you're a drinker there's plenty of that too. And the prices are great.“

Blake is an excellent bartender and host who makes you feel at home. He has a friendly personality and always has a smile on his face. Megan is a wonderful waitress who is friendly and outgoing. Well now since I finally move to Chicago Auburn Gresham with my fiancé, and now I live 15 minutes away. I take 79th Street bus from 79th and Ashland to 79th and Kedzie, and transfer to CTA Route #52A Southbound and go all way to 111th and Kedzie. I’m even more glad you guys reopened which I had no idea where you guys relocated at Thanks to my friend Tracy for telling me where it is. I went there with my fiancé Raymon. I’m so glad you guys are amazing, and the service was great too. I’ll be back. This place is even very affordable.“

“The vibes were really great! The dj was awesome they played a great mix of music that night (Friday). Everybody was having a good time, people were dancing and enjoying themselves. I ordered the tenders dipped in a honey garlic sauce, the smoke burger, and key lime pie. Everything was good, the tenders were juicy and nice sizes, the meat on the burger was seasoned and had great flavor. The key lime pie though! It came with a cherry like reduction (sauce) with walnuts, I wasn't expecting it to taste that good. I ate the whole thing before I tried the food 🤷🏾‍♀️ I'll be back.“

“Mr. B and staff family are amazing and know the regulars. Food is GREAT quality and quantity worth the price. Through all the increases in life the prices stayed about the same. Joe's, is much needed in the community. Sometimes you have to wait because it's BUSY but, it worth the wait. You can call in and place your order. Remember to drop something in the tip jug, they work HARD from 7a-2p.

Parking: There is free street parking around the restaurant and across the street that doesn't belong to Joe's but people often park there.

Kid-friendliness: Kids are more than welcome and there regularly.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are tables where you can remove the chairs and eat with a wheelchair. They will definitely accommodate you.“

“This bar is a very nice GEM that has a great decor. The beers are ice cold and the drinks very refreshing. Taco Tuesdays are very tasty and the catfish dinner is Awesome. This is a very friendly bar with colorful characters. Watch the game from any seat or select a song from touch tunes and dance your cares away. Try you luck on the gaming machines or just have a couple of drinks with your buds.

“Came for one thing, and that was the egg rolls. Not disappointed at all I got the three for 15. Philly salmon, Philly cheesesteak and Philly cheese chicken out of the three the salmon is my favorite. Yet, all of them are hot, fresh roll and delicious. They are filling and crispy. The Philly steak could use a little bit more cheese, but overall very good. Would definitely recommend. Lastly, the lady that waited on me she was very pleasant and good customer service.“

“We had our son's first birthday here and cannot say enough good things about Gilhooleys. The manager Jim was incredibly helpful and easy to work with. The staff the day of was amazing and friendly. The food (we did the brunch option) was so delicious. We got so many compliments about the food and the space from our guests. “I've been going to Tuesday Bar bingo for about 2 years. I don't win often but enjoy a good group get together. Recently I won three games in one day. On Memorial Day, my husband and I stopped for lunch wanting to use the certificates. On the certificate, it states for use "only" on Monday, Wednesday & Thursday. No mention of holiday exclusion. Before ordering, we asked about using all of our certificates and found that it was one per table. Ok. We ordered. The manager said we couldn't use it on a holiday. We debated that and she allowed us to use one. I gave my other two to two couples at other tables. Come to find out from the manager that her decision to allow "us consideration for use of the certificate on a holiday" only applied to us. I had to go back and take back those I gifted. How embarrassing. To me, Rooftop Tap makes it very hard to use their prize certificates. I've spent on average $30 + tip every time I go to bingo and this is how they treat customers. I suggest that you "clearly state" on the certificate your terms. They lost my business and possibly that of a few friends that normally meet for that Tuesday bingo.“
