“We love this spot! The food is always incredible and the coffee is DIVINE! It is a little pricey, but the quality of food is definitely there and you’re paying for exactly what you get (nice, hefty portions too, we always have to ask for boxes!!) I’m writing today though because of how outrageously friendly and welcoming the entire staff was. I’ve always had really good experiences here (I’ve come here through at least 4 name/business changes now haha) but today, our waitress was just a step above. She was energetic and kind and funny. The place is very much sardine packed with seating, and rightfully so because every single seat is taken every time I’ve ever come in. It can be a little crowded and stressful. This waitress didn’t let any of that phase her. The hostess stand was running with three or four girls, each one as pleasant as the next! There were kitchen staff and bussers working and smiling and chatting up customers. It was just a really nice experience overall. 10/10 recommend (and get the birria-quiles if you haven’t yet 🤤)“

“My first visit here. I did not get to try any food. That's because lunch hours are 12:00 to 3:00 pm, and the kitchen opens back up at 5:00 p.m. I picked up my order today. I called it in. Please make sure when you call in your order to check to see what the specials are and how much they cost. According to the post, the special on Wednesday is a patty melt with fries for $6. When I got there they told me there was no special on patty melts. So I paid the regular price of $10.50 each. It's not a bad price but I was expecting to pay $12 in tax for two. I did go over the post with the cashier to make sure of any other specials going on during the week and of course the other specials were legit but not the one today. So I don't understand why the patty melt was not a special today.

Okay, let's get to the food. The patty melt was delicious. It was seasoned perfectly. The onions were grilled perfectly. The food was nice and hot.

I will come back again but I'm going to double-check to make sure about the prices before I do.

It's a great spot to hang out for lunch and dinner. There are less than 20 items on the menu but they are nicely priced. Also, if you're a drinker there's plenty of that too. And the prices are great.“

Blake is an excellent bartender and host who makes you feel at home. He has a friendly personality and always has a smile on his face. Megan is a wonderful waitress who is friendly and outgoing. We were celebrating a 70th birthday and we were treated to several amazing desserts. The service was above and beyond our expectations. We booked our Christmas party here in December.“

“This bar is a very nice GEM that has a great decor. The beers are ice cold and the drinks very refreshing. Taco Tuesdays are very tasty and the catfish dinner is Awesome. This is a very friendly bar with colorful characters. Watch the game from any seat or select a song from touch tunes and dance your cares away. Try you luck on the gaming machines or just have a couple of drinks with your buds.

Sitting on the deck reminds me of family gatherings where we'd sit around and tell stories with beers in hand. “Came for one thing, and that was the egg rolls. Not disappointed at all I got the three for 15. Philly salmon, Philly cheesesteak and Philly cheese chicken out of the three the salmon is my favorite. Yet, all of them are hot, fresh roll and delicious. They are filling and crispy. The Philly steak could use a little bit more cheese, but overall very good. Would definitely recommend. Lastly, the lady that waited on me she was very pleasant and good customer service.“

“We had our son's first birthday here and cannot say enough good things about Gilhooleys. The manager Jim was incredibly helpful and easy to work with. The staff the day of was amazing and friendly. The food (we did the brunch option) was so delicious. We got so many compliments about the food and the space from our guests. It was our first time hosting a party so we were nervous, but Gilhooleys made everything easy for us. We are so grateful for such a wonderful time!“
