We made a reservation several days ago for a party of 23 (ages 3 weeks to 60 years, including a handful of toddlers/school-aged kids). They had a huge table ready to go as soon as we walked in, including the 2 high chairs we requested. Roman was our server and he was amazing! He got every single detail of our complicated orders correct—drinks, food substitutions, individual service requests, etc. Not a single thing had to be fixed. He was appropriately attentive for refills and clearing trash or finished dishes, but didn’t hover or annoy. He even interacted with the kids, treating them like little adults and giving them valuable experience interacting with a server in a dining situation. The food was fantastic! Ribeyes cooked to perfection, exactly to order and delicious. Pastas were all fantastic. Salads were fantastic. Shrimp was fantastic. Burgers were fantastic. Stingers (chicken strips) were fantastic. Onion petals were fantastic. Cheesesteak was fantastic. No one was disappointed with anything that was ordered. The only food-related thing to mention is that while the Mac and Cheese is very yummy, it isn’t really a traditional Mac and Cheese, per se, but still did not disappoint. Overall, we highly recommend Bluff City Grill and specifically appreciated our server, Roman, for a job well for a huge group.
