A kicked backed establishment where the waitresses are super nice. A drink list of martinis a page long plus beer and wines. Public parking, can be hard to find a parking spot. Oh the food, to die for. Pizza like you’ve never imagined along with old stand-by’s…. If you are looking for something different… I heartily suggest you try it out!

I was cutting it close and arrived at 8:37pm. Website says kitchen closes at 9- waitress said kitchen close at 8:30pm-okay lady whatever, I like to arrive at least an hour before the kitchen closed but today was hard. I’ll take 70% of the blame but 9pm is 9pm. I’ve been here before and the food is good, nice atmosphere-not extremely nice but very. I would say give them a try even though I’m a tad bit salty about today and just ordered 2 drinks and wrote a review to fuss. Food is a 3.5 to a 4 -pretty good actually-but I gave them a 3 because of today’s incident but I had two drinks and had a good time- I’ll be back.

We happened upon this delightful place while traveling through Alton on our boat. The owner was there and super friendly; his daughter was our server. We ordered mussels and salmon, along with an appetizer of fried ravioli and Caesar salad. It was all delicious with generous portions. It is a martini bar with lots of “specialty” martinis- the ones we had were awesome!

Food was generally good. The jaws drink was good. The foxy Cleopatra was not so good. The Bossa fgt BLT was very good. The toasted ravioli were dry. For a Friday night it was very uncrowded. I'd go back but have reservations because a guy walked in with a dog and, although it was leashed, it was jumping all over other seated guests. Restaurants are for eating, not walking your dog. Just IMHO

I did not realize that there was such a wonderful place to eat in Alton. To my surprise, the food was superb ,service was off the chain, and the atmosphere overall was a 10 out of 10. A friend of mine and I came in to enjoy just some appetizers, and she had crafted martini. I could not have asked for better. I can promise I will be back soon ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for Kitty
Food was fantastic. Just other patrons that put a damper on it. A couple who was clearly overserved decided to have a loud conversation with a 3rd party on speakerphone. Then, sticking to the theme of being loud, she thought that singing along to the background music was something everyone else wanted to hear. She was wrong. Fortunately this obnoxious couple was done eating and on their way out within 10 minutes.

0 stars across the board - Boyfriend and I came in and were one of two tables in the restaraunt, the other already having been served. We put in an order with our waitress for an appetizer and our meals and expected delivery to be served quickly considering we were the only people in the restaraunt - yet 40 minutes went by with our server never returning. 2 more couples came in and were both served appetizers (the same that we had ordered) and meals while we had been served nothing. At that point we could not even convey our frustration to the waitress because she never came back to the table, so we got up and left. We will never return and suggest that no one else does either.

My husband and took advantage of the personal pizza for $5.99. I had the Greek and he had the original with marinara. It was so delicious. The atmosphere is good, food is good and reasonably priced. Will definitely be back!

I had lunch there. The menu made the food look so upscale, but when it came out it was very disappointing. The meatball bahn mi, came out on a hotdog bun with lays chips. Said it would be a hoagie but it wasn’t. The taste wasn’t impressive. Service was great, atmosphere was wonderful.
