Great food and service. If you're on the outskirts of St Louis on the Illinois side, it's worth the stop. It's a supper club with plenty of eating options. I had the 3 pieces dark fried chicken option, and it was more than enough. The service was fantastic ... family friendly too.
Grew up in Alton & used to go to the Moonlight all the time; then we moved away. This is our first visit back there in over 40 years & we were not disappointed. The fried chicken has got to be the BEST we have ever had--just amazing! The onion rings are still home made & the drink I had actually tasted like there was some booze in it!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE to anyone who hasn't been there. Wonderful food & wonderful memories! Thank you!
Me and my wife chose to eat at the moonlight the food was terrific our server Dana was terrific didn’t have to ask for nothing she was so ahead of want we needed and also while we were eating we noticed this young man that was a busboy they ought to be so proud of him he was so busy so I ask what the young man’s Name was and they told me his name was Sam they should be so proud of him
