Tia is always wasted and so rude there it does really suck cause me and my friends enjoy going there but we know not to go Saturdays ever, cause she works. These bars are closing left and right and this one’s next with Tia chasing customers off. It’s a matter of time, if this lady is allowed to work there! Every time I’ve been there she’s always rude and drunk when I’m there. I made a review last time but deleted it because she told me if I didn’t I couldn’t go in there with my friends and now i stop by and if I see Tia working I just simply go elsewhere now. She also came into buddys and sissy’s once and I was just watching the show and she randomly tried to fight me. They made her leave and she went down to Danny’s where I had a few friends over hear her telling people at Danny’s she wanted to beat my face bloody. Absolutely uncalled for and I genuinely don’t know why she has so much hate over me. I gave a honest review before and I’m doing it again because the issue is never resolved. We go to have a good time and let loose but she is so negative.

Tia, the bartender, was obviously drunk and rude to several people at the bar, including myself. It sucks because whenever she's not working, it's a great place to be. My advice would be too fire her and replace her with someone competent.

This is one of my favorite bars to go to in downtown Alton! They by far have some of the best dart boards around, and literally my boyfriends family works here, so it's a must stop when we bar hop! Also, they have the best damn pickle shots around! I love going to Danny's and it's a great place!

If I could give zero stars I would I was there got over charged the bartender.. The lady was rude and mean as hell… Then she got mad that the didn’t want to get a drink… She even tried to get belligerent.. When people started to notice she said “I don’t want to argue” it was 11:50pm Sunday May 26th a heavyset woman… Made me feel uncomfortable.. Even friends of mine came in totally unrelated and they immediately left..

The staff take care of their customers and I appreciate having a fun and safe spot to go alone or with my girlfriends. The staff watch out for their customers and service is great. You feel like a regular from the start. Prices are fair, folks are friendly, and it feels like you step back in time when you sit down at the bar. A real neighborhood tavern for everybody.
