Steak and shake has really good burgers, or as they call them, steak burgers. This location does not have table service, rather, you place your order at a kiosk and they call your name when its ready. I could not figure out how to use the soda fountain. At first I thought it was turned off, then someone told me you have to scan your receipt in order for it to dispense soda.

I love Steak ‘n Shake, I’m always happy with my food, but every time I ask for sauce and usually even ask for extra sauce even if it’s paid for, they never give you any. Usually when they ask you to pull around and they will bring it out. Need a better system if they can’t ever remember. If you aren’t sticking your face in the bag odds are you aren’t getting what you ask for.

Food is still moderately good but since it has gone completely self serve with the kiosks and did away with waitresses it feels very unwelcoming and not personal anymore and that was the high point of dining in, they have one cook that is amazing to every customer but most of the staff is disconnected from everyone and can be rude, cleanliness is also a concern most of the time as well

Ordered cheese fries and they didn’t include them in my order. Shouldn’t be a big deal, I just let them know so they could correct the mistake. I told them and sat back down. 20 minutes later no cheese fries so we left. Absolutely terrible service.

A lot of improvement! I'm not going to lie, Steak n Shake was going downhill for a while and we stopped eating here. Ever since they reopened though, they've been getting better. The food is really good - the best fast food in the area now in my opinion. Nobody does smash burgers as well as SNS! My only issue is that the dining room is always dirty, condiments/silverware is often out of stock, and the drink dispenser has issues a lot. I think having a staff member dedicated to keeping up with the dining area would help tremendously.

Twice now in a week I’ve received bad service and asked for everything on my burger and didn’t get anything (I made sure to name everything) mayo ect. Well this time I recorded asking for mustard, mayo ect… Sadly I had to go in and ask for another Double Bacon with everything and was willing to let the manager hear the recoding of the order. They gave me a bacon double cheeseburger with NO BACON the second time around. I might as well face they don’t care here anymore. It’s to expensive to eat out for people to not care. I eat here twice a week but now I’m done! Check your order and be prepared for it to be wrong. As soon as they gave me my order at the window ALL of them except a young cook were outside in the back smoking or something so I needed to come in. I opened the drive through window yelled for someone and honked my horn. Of course while waiting for my new WRONG burger my fries were cold. I’m done here… You have been warned!
