A lot of improvement! I'm not going to lie, Steak n Shake was going downhill for a while and we stopped eating here. Ever since they reopened though, they've been getting better. The food is really good - the best fast food in the area now in my opinion. Nobody does smash burgers as well as SNS! 3/23/25. I wanted to try the fries that they brag about after switching to the lighter oil. WOW what a difference, the fries actually taste a lot better and lighter. So under $10 bucks u can get a double Cheeseburger combo and drink. What a good experience. I will make Steak & Shake one of my favorite places to hve lunch. Everything is automated. You order at the keask and pay right there also. You need your receipt and QR code to receive your drink.

I used to love steak and shake, but I'm pretty sure I've eaten the last bowl of their chili that I can handle. It is just not the same anymore, burgers, chili etc. I went in to wash my hands after ordering on the touch screen that everyone else in the world has touched, wow! almost wish I could have unordered.
