Steak and shake has really good burgers, or as they call them, steak burgers. This location does not have table service, rather, you place your order at a kiosk and they call your name when its ready. I could not figure out how to use the soda fountain. At first I thought it was turned off, then someone told me you have to scan your receipt in order for it to dispense soda.

A lot of improvement! I'm not going to lie, Steak n Shake was going downhill for a while and we stopped eating here. Ever since they reopened though, they've been getting better. The food is really good - the best fast food in the area now in my opinion. Nobody does smash burgers as well as SNS! My only issue is that the dining room is always dirty, condiments/silverware is often out of stock, and the drink dispenser has issues a lot. I think having a staff member dedicated...

3/23/25. I wanted to try the fries that they brag about after switching to the lighter oil. WOW what a difference, the fries actually taste a lot better and lighter. So under $10 bucks u can get a double Cheeseburger combo and drink. What a good experience. I will make Steak & Shake one of my favorite places to hve lunch. Everything is automated. You order at the keask and pay right there also. You need your receipt and QR code to receive your drink.
