Good BBQ for a good price.We're Outside is off the beaten path, but it is easy to find. It's just a little shed and you order at one window from the outside and pick your food up at the next window. They have a huge patio if you want to eat on location, but it is not pet friendly.I 'm a fan of Pork Steaks, so that is what I ordered on my first visit. It was fork tender, I could pull off a bite without using a knife. The flavor was good and not over sauced. All their side dishes are housemate and delicious. My sides were; Mac-n-Cheese and Potato Salad. The Mac-n-Cheese was rich and creamy, but for me it needed more pepper (easy fix). My Potato Salad was one of the best that I have had at a BBQ joint.The young lady working the order window was friendly and answered my questions professionally. Owner is usually on site from what I have heard and he to was pleasant to talk with.This location is convenient for me and I'll probably become a regular. So, when you go to give it a try, we may cross paths.

I recently dined at We're Outside, a BBQ place in Alton, IL, and overall had a positive experience. The BBQ was flavorful and well-seasoned, with a good variety of options to choose from. However, I did find that the meat could have been more tender.The atmosphere of the place was laid-back and welcoming, with friendly staff members. The prices were reasonable for the portion sizes and quality of food served.Overall, I enjoyed my meal at "We're Outside" and would recommend it to BBQ enthusiasts looking for a casual dining experience in Alton. I would give it 4 stars.Vegetarian options: Just the salad options.

Got the Pulled Chicken, half slab and spaghetti. Everything was tasty. Chicken sandwich was on the small side. Ribs were very tender. Spaghetti was slightly softer then I would have liked. Flavorful though. I'll be back again.Wheelchair accessibility: Front and center

Great customer service. Had the pork steak. Amazing sauce and unbelievably tender. Husband had pulled pork and liked it very much. Mac and cheese side very good. Very reasonable prices.

I actually was passing by and saw some ppl outside and decided to stop and grab a menu with all the wonderful smells. One of the ppl standing outside was an older gentleman who started off telling me how bad StL bbq is and then what bbq he likes and how I should treat him. I bid my farewell to the overly friendly man and the nice lady to return later. First official visit got the smoked wings meal, ribs meal, and bratwurst. First the wings... some were soo dry and crunchy, basically inedible and quite a few wings still had feathers. I got the ribs dry to see how they do without sauce... it needed sauce and then some. Now the sides were green beans, spaghetti, and potato salad. Green beans were just heated from the can, the spaghetti was bland and although the potato salad was on the bland side I didn't mind it. The brat was a brat and was cool. I hate leaving a review like this for this small new business but ya'll gotta do better. I'll stick to my MO side bbq.

Great little place. The owner seemed really nice. Will definitely be going back. Had the pulled pork because i had never been there. It was excellent. Plenty of flavor and tangy sauce, not too sweet. Chili was good also. The kids had a hot dog and a chili dog and said they were yummy.
